Gary Chaw and Wu Shu-Ling end marriage
28 Nov - Gary Chaw and wife, Wu Shu-Ling have recently announced their divorce.
The couple shared the news on social media with a joint-statement that read, "We have ended our 14-year marriage. There have been many beautiful episodes along the way. In the second half of the marriage, we were unable to understand each other much frequently and it made us think, no one is right or wrong, we have worked hard together in this marriage, and 14 years of experience in each other's lives cannot be erased.
"In the end, we chose to end the marriage relationship and let each other return to the original position," they added.
The couple also stated that their common goal right now is to take care of their children so that they can grow up healthy and free.
It was back in October that Gary shared about their marital woes during the press conference of his concert in Malaysia, and later posted on social media, "I didn't leave because I didn't love you. It's because I love you too much."
On the other hand, Wu, who was contacted by the media about the decision, relayed through her manager, "The end of the marriage is a new beginning for us. We will continue to care for each other as friends."
