Gao Yuanyuan explains bruises on her thigh
20 Nov – Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan has finally clarified the reason for the bruises on her thigh, saying that it was from taking care of her mother.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently, explained that her bruises – which was photographed by paparazzi before, had nothing to do with husband Mark Chao.
"My mum was hospitalised at the time, and she needed help whenever she wanted to move. I had to pick her up by her arms, and then her legs, and then turn her around," she said.
However, Gao said that it was hard doing the task on her own, and that every time she uses force, her thigh will hit the bed frame.
"So the bruises you see were actually from hitting the bed frame," she said.
Gao admitted that she did think about the bruises and what people might think about it.
"I'm sure people wouldn't have thought this is something that Gao Yuanyuan would do in her life," she added.
