When it comes to real-world politics, “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner can be as ruthless as her Westeros rival, Cersei Lannister.

“I hope certain politicians wouldn’t do well in the world of ‘Game of Thrones,'” she said in an interview with TheWrap Tuesday. “I would quite like to bring some of them in just to slaughter them. But unfortunately that can’t be done nowadays.”

“So yeah. Go on, Hillary,” she added with a laugh.

Turner made an appearance with some of her “Game of Thrones” castmates at San Diego Comic-Con last week, sharing her thoughts on the actual leadership of Westeros.

The hit HBO drama recently concluded Season 6, with Sansa finally claiming a few victories after years of both figurative and literal abuse.

The elder Stark daughter played a key role in the Battle of the Bastards, which led to the grisly death of her husband/tormenter Ramsay Bolton at the jaws of his own dogs, and helped her half-brother Jon Snow claim the title of King of the North.

But Turner isn’t convinced that that’s a good thing: “I don’t think [Sansa] believes Jon is capable of running Winterfell and the North. She doesn’t think he has the intellect, the knowledge, the experience that she has, and I concur,” she said.

“Game of Thrones” returns to HBO for an abridged seventh season next summer.
