Gabrielle Union dressed up as '90s-era Gwen Stefani, and yes, there's video
If you’re still looking for some last-minute Halloween costume inspiration, look no further than birthday girl Gabrielle Union, because she rang in her special day with a ’90s-themed Halloween bash. And Union did not come to play when it came to her dress-up game. On Sunday, October 28th, Union celebrated her 46th birthday in Miami, channeling Gwen Stefani from the 1996 “Spiderwebs” video. Union took to Instagram to show off her look before the party, coming down the stairs to “Just A Girl.”
The entire look was so spot-on—from the punk-inspired plaid to Stefani’s signature red lip.

Stefani even shared the video to her Instagram, tagging Union in her caption and writing, “obviously this made me soooooo happy!!” Other highlights? Union’s husband, Dwyane Wade, dressed up as fellow ’90s icon the Fresh Prince, and Lil’ Kim shocked Union with a surprise performance. The two took the stage together for an impromptu version of “Crush on You.”
