Gabriel Luna is the new Terminator in upcoming movie

Gabriel Luna will be the newest Terminator sent by artificial intelligence system, Skynet.

16 Apr – The people behind the "Terminator" franchise have found their newest Terminator for the sixth movie releasing in 2019.

Gabriel Luna will play the latest android assassin in the sixth "Terminator" movie which will act as a reboot continuing the story of 1984's "The Terminator" and its follow-up, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", confirms Deadline.

Luna, who is best known for his portrayal as Ghost Rider in season four of "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.", will join Diego Boneta, Mackenzie Davis, and Natalia Reyes whose roles are yet to be disclosed.

In addition, original cast members Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will both reprise their roles as T-800 and Sarah Connor respectively, reuniting the two since 1991 in "Terminator 2: Judgement Day".

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back as the cold-blooded but friendly android, T-800.

The casting of Boneta, Luna, and Reyes is a step forward towards diversity as all three of them are of Latin decent, which could probably hint that the movie is set in a Latin American country as opposed to the usual Los Angeles.

Plot details are still under wraps at the moment, but since "Terminator 6" is a direct sequel of the second "Terminator" movie, it will probably follow Sarah Connor and her son, John Connor, who are getting ready for the next Skynet threat after adverting (maybe) its nuclear holocaust.

"Terminator 6" will be directed by Tim Miller and is scheduled for a 22 November 2019 release.
