"G Storm" concludes filming months after pandemic

7 Jul – Months after filming was halted due to the pandemic, it was revealed that the upcoming movie, "G Storm" has finally completed production.

As reported on Mingpao, the film, which resumed its filming earlier this month after the Hong Kong government eased off the social restriction order, recently held a small celebration for the cast and crew to congratulate everybody for the job well done.

Seen at the scene on the last day of filming was director David Lam, lead actors Louis Koo, and actress Janelle Sing.

The three of them also thanked the crew for their effort, which had enabled the film to finish production without any more delay.

"G Storm" originally planned to shoot two major scenes after the Lunar New Year, including a large-scale gun battle in a South-East Asian country. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, the original plan had to be cancelled and the production instead focused only on its Hong Kong locations.

The upcoming movie also co-stars Bosco Wong, Julian Cheung, Kevin Cheng, and Jessica Hester Hsuan.
