G Idle to return with new album mid-August

6 Aug – Girl group G Idle (stylised (G)I-DLE) is set to return to the music scene this month.

As reported on JTBC, the news was announced by the group's agency, Cube Entertainment, which stated that the girls will be making their music comeback mid-August.

"They are currently on the last stages of preparing their album," the company stated.

The sextet previously made their debut with their hit single "Latata", written by group leader Soyeon - who made her debut through the reality show, "Produce 101", though failed to become a member of the winning group, I.O.I.

No news as to whether the rapper has written new songs for the upcoming album.
