If you're a NASCAR fan then you probably know the name Burton. As is the case for many racing families, a love for the sport just runs in the blood of the Burton family, creating a multi-generational NASCAR dynasty. Today, Harrison and Jeb Burton keep the family name alive in NASCAR racing, and now going head-to-head on the track. Harrison and Jeb share the same last name but they aren't brothers, they're cousins.

Harrison, 22, is the son of retired NASCAR driver and NBC Sports Analyst Jeff Burton. Jeff's older brother Ward Burton, who is also a former NASCAR driver, is Jeb's father. Jeb, 30, is eight years older than Harrison, so his career began long before Harrison could even drive.

Jeb began his racing career in 2008, and, today, races with Jordan Anderson Racing, competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Harrison races for Wood Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. The cousins first raced against one another (in a real competition that is) was in 2017, when Harrison was just 16 years old. Harrison already had some driving experience under his belt before he could even get a legitimate driver's license from the DMV. In 2015, he was the youngest driver ever to compete in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, just eight days after his 15th birthday.

It's safe to say that the name Burton carries some weight in the world of NASCAR!
