Fred Cheng to film new TVB drama next month
24 Sep – Two years after his last drama, Fred Cheng revealed that he will begin filming his new TVB series sometime next month.
As reported on On CC, the singer who shared the good news with the media at the promotional event of his new album, "Starlight", shared that there is no truth at all to rumours that his relationship with Stephanie Ho has taken a toll on his acting career.
"It looked like I didn't have any work because I was rarely seen on television, but actually, in the past couple of years, I was busy recording songs and making my music," he said.
Fred also stated that he is not worried about the negative rumours surrounding him as his fans and the people around him know him best.
His last drama was "Provocateur", which was aired in early 2017 and co-starring Gallen Lo.
On the other hand, when asked about the damages occurred from the recent Typhoon Mangkhut, the singer, who is living in Sai Kung, shared that it didn't affect the area as much as other places.
"But we did have power outage during the typhoon," he said.
