Fred Cheng denies reprimand from record label

27 Apr - Hong Kong singer Fred Cheng has denied rumours that his record label Voice Entertainment has 'frozen' him due to his high-profile romance with Stephanie Ho.

As reported on Mingpao, previously, tabloids claimed that Voice Entertainment's Herman Ho was unhappy about the romance, and decided to cancel Fred's Hong Kong Coliseum concert in July, to be replaced by Jinny Ng instead.

When asked about it recently, Fred said that he had no idea about a concert in July at all, and stressed that the company has been very supportive of him and his relationship.

Fred also revealed that he is currently preparing his new album.

On the other hand, when mentioned that girlfriend Stephanie Ho is unhappy about being called a third party in his previous relationship, Fred said that they have talked about it and that the singer is taking it well.

As to whether they will spend more time together now that their relationship is exposed, Fred said that it will depend on their schedule.
