Frankie Lam is not afraid of his wife
15 Oct – Hong Kong actor Frankie Lam dismissed the idea that he is afraid of his wife Kenix Kwok and that she wears the pants in the family.
As reported on Mingpao Weekly, the actor who has been married to the former actress since 2004, said that the better word to describe his relationship with Kenix is "respect" – that rather than be afraid of her, he is respectful of his wife.
Frankie also addressed the allegations that Kenix is the breadwinner since she comes from a wealthy family.
"It doesn't matter that I have been working all this time while my wife has not worked for ten years, people still say that her family gives me money. But what can I do about that?" he lamented.
At the same time, the actor defended his wife over claims that she has a bad temper.
"She is a straightforward person and has a bit of a temper. But who doesn't? She is someone who will just speak out about things that she finds irritating. Everyone deals with things differently," he said.
Frankie then added that the most important thing in a marriage is the ability to be tolerant towards one's spouse and communicate with one another.
