Fox Searchlight Launches Voter Registration Initiative For ‘Birth Of A Nation’ Screenings
Fox Searchlight is launching a nationwide voter registration initiative to encourage Americans to vote. The company is aligning with theatre chains and voting organizations to hold voter enrolment in theatre lobbies on September 27, National Voter Registration Day, prior to special promotional screenings of Nate Parker’s The Birth of a Nation. Initiative will continue into the opening weekend of the film on October 7-9. The film’s stars Parker, Colman Domingo, Aunjanue Ellis, Aja Naomi King and Gabrielle Union have recorded the following PSA to raise awareness about exercising the right to vote:
