Former Singapore Idol Hady Mirza arrested for suspected drug offences: report

Singapore Idol Season 2 winner Hady Mirza has been arrested for suspected drug offences, according to The New Paper.

Mirza, whose real name is Muhammad Mirzahady Amir, was reportedly seen in the Changi Prison Complex around a month ago. The circumstances of his arrest have not yet been made clear.

The 38-year-old was recently in the news after Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore reported in January that he was a Grab driver.

According to the TNP report, Mirza, who has been married since 2014, previously operated his chilli tempeh snack business called “Tempting Tempe”, which he started in 2016. He is also the co-founder of local group FRHM Youth.
