Former DOLLA member Syasya is now a married woman
23 Apr - Following viral photos of former DOLLA member Syasya, real name Norsyasya Afiqah Shahrizal, dressed in a wedding attire surrounded by family and friends, Universal Music Malaysia recently confirmed that the singer is now married.
Kim Lim, the Managing Director of the record label, stated that Syasya's marriage was also one of the reasons why she decided to depart from the group earlier this month.
"There is no denying that Syasya's resignation from DOLLA surprised many. However, we have to accept that the decision was made by her, which is considered too personal. I want to share the good news for everyone that Syasya has married the man of her choice today. This is also one of the main factors why Syasya chose not to be with DOLLA anymore," said Kim.
Syasya's departure, which was confirmed on 9 April, came as a surprise to many, especially since DOLLA had just won the hearts of fans in China following their appearance on the reality show, "Show It All".
She then surprised fans yet again when videos of her trading her sexy outfit to hijab circulated on TikTok.
