"Forensic Heroes V" currently in the works

20 Mar - After the success of "Forensic Heroes IV", it was revealed that TVB is now gearing up for the fifth instalment.

As reported on HK01, news of another addition to the "Forensic Heroes" franchise was confirmed by screenwriter Yip Tin Shing on 18 March, saying that he has begun preparing for the upcoming project.

Said Yip, the series will be a continuation of the fourth one with the "clown arc", an element that was found in the previous season - in which four dead bodies in clown outfits with one holding up five fingers was shown as the last scene in the final episode.

"The clown character has been a staple in all four instalments, so we're continuing the tradition," he added.

It was also rumoured that the upcoming series will star Pakho Chau as one of the male leads, while some claimed that Charmaine Sheh or Linda Chung could also be involved in the project - despite the latter previously saying that she is not keen on being away for a long time from her kids in Canada.

On the other hand, the upcoming series will reportedly be produced by Ben Fong, following the retirement of its original producer Miu Siu Ching.
