Although Florida is blessed with more than 800 miles of sandy shores, not all of its beaches are created equal. Jupiter, located on the southeastern coast of Florida just north of West Palm Beach, boasts 3.4 miles of the state’s extraordinary beaches. It’s renowned for having some of the clearest waters in the South, according to Southern Living. In fact, its beaches can easily rival those of the Caribbean, and the serene environment is perfect for those seeking a slower pace and soul-soothing vistas.

The town’s pristine beaches are primarily attributed to its well-preserved natural ecosystems and minimal industrial pollution. The Jupiter Inlet plays a key role, providing a channel for fresh ocean water to enter the Intracoastal Waterway. This exchange, facilitated by favorable currents and tidal patterns, helps to maintain exceptional water clarity. The area is also teeming with marine life, supported by healthy mangrove forests and seagrass beds acting as natural filters.

Jupiter offers a myriad of activities for locals and visitors to enjoy. Start your adventure by exploring the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary or the Jupiter Ridge Natural Area, where you can immerse yourself in the native habitats and wildlife. To explore the area's maritime heritage, visit the historic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. No trip to the area would be complete without spending time on the soft, powder-white sands of Jupiter Beach Park, Ocean Cay Park, or Juno Beach Park.

After a day at the beach, don your best flip-flops and head to local favorites like Guanabanas and the Square Grouper Tiki Bar, where you can savor fresh-caught seafood, sip on tropical drinks, and enjoy stunning views. For entertainment, Harbourside Place offers a lively downtown area with specialty stores and a waterside amphitheater.

Jupiter’s premier hotel, the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, completed an extensive renovation in late 2022. This beachfront property has 175 newly refurbished guest rooms and suites, designed with contemporary, island-inspired décor and private balconies. Guests can dine at three on-site venues and receive a relaxing spa treatment at the luxurious Opal Spa.
