Flora King makes TV comeback with ViuTV drama

17 Jun – Former TVB actress Flora King (also known as Mitra King Toi Yam) is making her television comeback with a new ViuTV drama, "Retired Queen" (working title).

As reported on Mingpao, the 57-year-old actress, who has been away from the limelight nearly 30 years, shared that she didn't feel nervous at all returning as an actress, and was quite comfortable filming the said drama.

However, Flora stated that this would be a one-time thing as she has no plans to make a permanent comeback.

"Unless there is a chance to cooperate with SHINee's Taemin, then I will definitely say yes," she said jokingly.

Flora was famous in the 1980s, having starred in dramas like "The Deer and the Cauldron" and "The Foundation". Together with Annie Liu and Jaime Chik, the three of them were dubbed "The Three Flowers". However, the actress began to fade out of the entertainment circle following her marriage to her former TVB executive husband.
