Flip Or Flop's Christina Anstead is Basically Building A Water Park in Her Backyard

HGTV star Christina Anstead may be a few months away from the premiere of her first solo show on the network, Christina On The Coast, but that doesn't mean she's just lounging around. In fact, she's hard at work designing the perfect space to lounge around in someday-you know, when she isn't filming multiple hit shows and designing people's homes.

Christina's teased glimpses of the pool she and husband Ant Anstead are building in the backyard of their California home, but recently, she gave fans a look at the big picture project, sharing a rendering of what the work in progress will become. And it basically turns their backyard into a five-star resort-caliber oasis. That's no exaggeration.

There's a massive pool with a water slide snaking around what appears to be a swim-up bar, along with a deck and a curtained cabana that seems designed for poolside massages. Giant letters spelling L-O-V-E line the hedges in the back, all creating a lush-yet-modern getaway...that they don't have to leave their house to enjoy.

Christina's working with the landscaping pros at JE Proscapes (which you might recognize from their appearances on Flip Or Flop) to make this backyard a reality. The final product may be some time away, but there's a good chance you'll see the big reveal on Christina On The Coast, since the show will feature the designer renovating her own home, in addition to helping other families. In the meantime, the rest of us can dream of turning our yards into our own private Sandals resort.
