Fizz Fairuz says his newborn is his fifth daughter

23 Sep - Datuk Fizz Fairuz has denied rumours that he and wife Datin Almy Nadia have welcomed a son into their family, saying that their fifth born is another daughter.

Speaking to the media about the recent birth, Fizz said that both he and his wife are grateful to have another baby girl despite already having four daughters.

"We have received a lot of well-wishes from the fans. Some even believed that we finally have a son. But I have to tell you that it is another daughter. Almy is doing okay now and has started her confinement," he said.

Fizz stated that Almy was actually supposed to give birth on 6 October, but that their child arrived two weeks earlier than expected.

"Almy was experiencing pain in her lower abdomen because the baby has already moved downward. So, as soon as the pregnancy entered its 37th week, we went to the hospital and saw that she was 2 cm dilated. So we had the baby," he said.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, are parents to four daughters; Nur Afrina Arianna, 9; Nur Afrina Aurora, 8; Nur Afrina Ayra, 6; Nur Afrina Aisyah, 3.
