Fiza Halim files report over gold digger accusation
13 Jul – Singer-actress Fiza Halim recently revealed that she is filing a report against a woman believed to be her former sister-in-law over the allegations against her.
The issue sparked last weekend, when a Twitter user claiming to be the sister of her former third husband Aizat Al-Jefri Abdul Kudus accused Fiza of being a gold digger and a homewrecker, who supposedly tried to ruin Aizat's relationship with his family and was supposedly the third party in Aizat's previous marriage.
Speaking to the media following the bombshell, the former ELITE member stated that she would rather not respond to the other party, and instead seek assistance from the police.
"There is a reason why I have kept my mouth shut for several days after my name went viral with this story. I am sorry. I have been advised by the police not to respond or answer any questions as all the messages and comments received are being monitored by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the police," she said.
The case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for defamation and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities or network services.
Fiza and Aizat were married back in 2016 and have a daughter together. However, their marriage ended in July last year.
The actress has been married twice prior. She has two daughters with her first husband, Ahmed Farriq Zainul Abidin, and her second marriage was to singer Adam of Akademi Fantasia fame.
