First Look: Ralph Lauren Outfits Team USA for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome
For the past four Ryder Cups, when Team U.S.A. entered the grounds—whether it be on Whistling Straits' windy shorelines or the strategic challenge of France's Le Golf National—they did it wearing Ralph Lauren.
This year, when the 2023 team hits Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy, they'll do the same—and we have your first look at what the lucky 12 members of Team USA will be draped in from tee to green come the end of September.
The '23 uniforms are unsurprisingly of the red, white, and blue variety. After a glance at the kit, we're praying for a little weather. Polos, pants, and pullovers—just polos from Monday to Wednesday, with full kits from Thursday to Sunday—anchor the collection in function, but RL's inclusion of its classic cricket sweater and a full-zip uniform jacket bring country club and competition together, showcasing the exciting mix of sports gear and sportswear.
These won't be the only Ralph Lauren garms Team USA wears that week—the brand historically turns out some top-tier tailoring for the tournament's opening and closing ceremonies. Last year we saw our boys cleaned up quite well, opting for a classic prep execution with tweed jackets and ties right out of boarding school. It its, without a doubt, the best we saw American golfers dress all year.
