Best known for her roles in Killing Eve and Harry Potter, the actress is set to play the main character's grandmother in the film.
Nailing a polished suit look for the premiere, the star differently opted for a stylish neutral checked option for the special occasion.
Teaming it with a crisp white shirt and stylish black stilettos, the actress also went for a natural makeup look and minimal gold accessories.
The children's film If is based around the story of a young girl Bea who has gone through troubling experiences in her life and unexpectedly gained the ability to see people's imaginary friends, who have been abandoned by kids they've helped.
Bea then discovers that her neighbour, Cal, played by Ryan Reynolds, also has the same ability. Together they join forces to reunite the IFs with their former kids.
The premiere of the latest film also recently came to London's Leicester Square, where Fiona Shaw took to the red carpet in a royal blue gown, featuring beautiful bow detailing around the neckline.
The star was also captured with co-star and friend Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who she also worked with on the popular BBC TV series Killing Eve.
The friends were seen hugging on the red carpet, as they reunited for the special occasion.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is also playing the character Blossom in If, which is set to be an excitable humanoid butterfly who was Bea's Grandma's childhood imaginary friend.
The cast includes lots of other famous faces including John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Bradley Cooper and more.
