"Finding Her Voice" stars know nothing about Savio Tsang's illness
19 Feb – Savio Tsang's co-stars from the series, "Finding Her Voice" recently revealed that they have no knowledge as to whether there is truth to rumours that the singer is currently battling lung cancer.
As reported on Mingpao, Jimmy Au, who spoke to the media at an event recently, stated that the only thing he knows about Savio's condition was what the singer told him earlier.
"He just said that he had some discomfort in his lungs and problems with his immune system. The last time I saw him was at the performance on "Cantopop at 50". He seemed uncomfortable at the time and we told him to rest more," he said.
Jimmy admitted that Savio was originally scheduled to perform with them in Malaysia back in January, but that all of the other cast members didn't push for him to go seeing that he was having difficulties with his health situation.
"We did wish each other on the Lunar New Year. I hope he is fine and will recover soon," he added.
Another co-star Joe Tay told the media that he doesn't know anything about it, and that the last time all the main actors and producers gathered was back in November.
As for Hugo Ng, the actor apologised and said that he will not make any comments about Savio's health to respect the singer's privacy.
On the other hand, Cutie Mui, who was romantically linked to Savio in the past, stated that she doesn't know anything about it as they haven't been in contact with each other for a long time.
"I wish him speedy recovery," she added.
