Finalists revealed for H&M's 'Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year' contest

High street label H&M and lifestyle social discovery platform Bloglovin' have announced the five finalists of H&M's "Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year" competition.

The contest, which aims to provide opportunities and mentor emerging bloggers, has selected Amy Roiland of "A Fashion Nerd"; Taye Hansberry of "Stuff She Likes"; Maristella Gonzalez of "A Constellation Journal"; Janel Therese of "Street Style Teller," and Taria-Ann Verburgt of "Survivor on Stilettos" as its five finalists.

Chosen on the basis of their creative and unusual content, as well as the promise they show to succeed in the blogging industry, one of the five will be announced as the winner at the Bloglovin' Awards, in September, during New York Fashion Week. The winner will be featured in H&M's digital editorial platform, H&M Magazine.

As part of the competition, the five fashion bloggers also participated in a one-on-one mentorship day at H&M's showroom with Leandra Medine, creator of Man Repeller, who said it was "incredible to be part of the next generation of bloggers and have the opportunity to share my personal experience with them to help guide and shape their own careers" (via WWD).
