We always expected Sophie to have showstopping Christmas decorations, and when we visited her at home, we were not disappointed. Sophie's real Christmas tree is covered in vintage and handmade decorations, multicoloured velvet bows, and surrounded by reusable paper honeycomb balls – a thrifty way to fill in gaps before the presents arrive.

If you follow Sophie on Instagram, you will have seen her new open-plan kitchen and dining space, that serves as the centrepiece on Christmas day. Sophie's festive tablescape is full of fresh flowers, dried fruit and seasonal tableware, crowned with a bright and abundant flower cloud suspended from the ceiling.
