Felix Wong holds funeral for wife Leung Kit Wah
16 Jun – A funeral was recently held for former actress Leung Kit Wah, who passed away late last month after battling cancer for seven years.
As reported on Mingpao, Felix Wong, actor and husband of Leung, as well as daughter Adrian Wong accepted an interview with the media at the said funeral held at the Universal Funeral Parlor, and revealed that they dressed Leung in her best look for her final journey.
"My wife loved to dress up, so we decorated the hall beautifully to leave a beautiful memory," said Felix, adding that they also prepared Leung's favourite clothes and Cantonese opera costume as burial goods.
Speaking about his own situation, the actor stated that it would be inevitable for him to need some time to adjust as it would be the first time in a long time for him to live without his wife.
"I have no plans at the moment. My wife and I had a lot of memories together. Time passes quickly, and suddenly it has been 40 years," he said.
Asked what was Leung's last wish, Felix stated that his wife only wanted for him and their daughter Adrian to take care of each other and also tend to Leung's mother.
Among those who attended the funeral include Andy Lau and wife Carol, Michael Miu, Frankie Lam and wife Kenix Kwok, Alan Tam, Myolie Wu, and Nancy Wu.
Leung was 59.
