Fei Yu-ching kicks off farewell tour
11 Feb – Taiwanese singer Fei Yu-ching has now embarked on his farewell concert tour, which started on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who started his show with his hit song "Yuan Xiang Ren", shared that he has actually performed 172 times in Taiwan, though this would be his first show for the concert tour.
"After nearly 40 years, tonight's performance is not going to be the same. There is a sense of incomprehension in my heart, as it time is getting more and more urgent," he said.
Fei performed several more of his classics, including "Tuberosa", "A Spray of Plum Blossoms", and "Good Night Song".
The singer also couldn't help but shed a tear as he ended his first show, saying that it was a great first farewell performance to kick off the tour.
On the other hand, Fei revealed that he will also be donating NTD 20 million to various charities - details which will be announced later on.
Fei will continue his farewell tour to various cities and countries, including Malaysia and Singapore, until May.
