1. Singer daughter pens heartfelt music to firefighter Dad
Famous content creator and singer Jax wrote a touching song for her father, John, a New York Police District firefighter who was injured during the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Centre, in time for father’s day last year.
The song, entitled “Like My Father,” talks about wanting to have a partner who “gets out of the car and holds the door and rocks out to Billy Joel and flip our kids off when they call us old,” Jax told Variety.
The song became a sensation on TikTok, resonating with people around the world. Some even used it as their first dance song at weddings and sweet 16 celebrations. It beautifully captures the love and admiration a daughter has for her father, reflecting the ideal example of a loving couple.
In an interview, Jax said that she hoped many would relate to her song.
“I hope that people connect with it. I never really know because I’m always super close to the music. So it’s hard for me to look on the outside looking in, but I do know for me they have set an example, and that is the ideal example of what a couple should be,” Jax said.

In Canada, a TikTok user named Hollywood Glamour shared shared a video of her father’s reaction to a Father's Day gift.
When he opened the box and read the message on the mug, he burst into laughter and tears of joy.
“That’s f*cking hilarious,” the dad remarked while laughing hard. “That’s funny.”
Hollywood Glamour said that they haven’t heard their dad laugh that way before, which could only mean that he appreciated his father’s day gift so much.
“That’s so inappropriate,” the dad said about what’s in the mug.
The design hilariously stated, “We used to live in your balls. Happy Father's Day!”
This unexpected and humorous gift brought immense joy to both the father and the internet.
Some netizens shared their personal experiences of gifting their dad things with witty passages.
“That’s funny,” one user said. “My son got my husband one last year, it says, ‘Thanks for not pulling out.’”
3. Singer pulls prank on father by greeting mom instead
Sheena Melwani, an Indian content creator and singer, became famous for her videos featuring her father's humorous interruptions.
On Father's Day last year, while singing a heartfelt song for her father, she surprised him by revealing that the song was actually dedicated to her mother.
“This is Father’s Day, rascal!” her father exclaimed, which caused the singer to burst into laughing while still playing the piano.
The two continued exchanging funny remarks at each other, then the dad finally told her what he truly felt by her surprise.
“No, no. No more. This is wrong,” the father, who sounded hurt, said while Melwani was laughing hard.
“You’re very, very abusive to my feelings,” the dad added.

In a lighthearted celebration, TikTok content creator and mum of four Stique and her girlfriends planned a unique Father’s Day surprise.
