Fasha Sandha confirms she is divorced

21 Jan – After remaining silent as the public ponder about the status of her household, local actress Fasha Sandha finally comes forward confirming that she and husband Rizal Ashram Ramli aka Jejai have gotten a divorce.
The divorce was announced by Judge Muhamad Abdul Karin Wahab at the Federal Territory Syariah High Court at about 3 pm yesterday.
Previously the "Penanggal" actress was reported to have filed an appeal for divorce on January 18.
While walking out of the court room, Fasha was accompanied by Syariah lawyer Zulkifli Che Yong and refused to comment regarding the divorce.
The 32-year-old however released a media statement to reporters through her manager.
In the statement, Fasha said that the decision to divorce is best for both sides after attempts to save their marriage broke down.
"I am pleased and will continue my life with my two kids," she mentioned as quoted by mStar.
Fasha and Jejai were married on 27 April 2012 and are blessed with 2 children, 2-year-old Putra Rayfal and 1-year old Putri Raysha Jemyma.
This is Jejai's second marriage after his first marriage with actress Nora Danish lasted two years having a son together, 7-year-old Putra Rayqal.
