Farewell ceremony for late singer-actress Miho Nakayama set for April
27 Jan - A special farewell ceremony for the late Miho Nakayama will be held in April, one month after her passing.
The announcement came from the Miho Nakayama Farewell Ceremony Executive Committee through her official website on 24 January, following the completion of her 49th day memorial service.
"We will be holding a 'Miho Nakayama Farewell Ceremony' on Tuesday, 22 April at Tokyo International Forum Hall B7 as a place to say goodbye to all of our fans, those who helped us in our work, and our close friends. We will provide further details as soon as they are ready. We ask that you refrain from making individual inquiries," the committee announced.
The committee also expressed their hope that everyone would send their kind thoughts and remember Miho in their prayers.
Miho was found dead in the bathroom of her home in Tokyo's Shibuya district on 6 December. Following an investigation, police ruled out foul play, and her agency later confirmed that her death was due to an accidental drowning while bathing.
She was 54 years old.
