Fans Praise Toby Keith After Country Icon Posts Rare Selfie on Instagram
Toby Keith has a lot on his plate these days, but the country music icon isn't too busy to support good causes.
The 61-year-old singer recently shared a new image of himself on Instagram urging fans to learn more about Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, an organization that helps support and raise funds for children's hospitals across the country. In the picture, Toby is sporting a Belmar hat, along with a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals t-shirt. "Change kids’ health, change the future. Go to cmnhospitals.org to donate to your member children’s hospital," his caption reads.
Since Toby revealed his stomach cancer diagnosis with fans in 2022, his Instagram account has mostly featured throwback photos (like this stunning one of him and his wife!), so fans were thrilled to see their favorite country star in a recent picture, especially one where he's supporting such an important organization.
"Supporting our children with cancer as you fight the fight. You are always in my prayers and will always be number 1 in my book," someone wrote. "So good to see you back on here!! Praying for you and your health," said another. "You have always been my fav county artist. I love what you stand for," another fan wrote.
In November, Toby made a surprise appearance in Lexington, Kentucky, and also received the BMI Icon Award at the 2022 BMI Country Awards. Toby has said he needs time before he starts touring again, and needless to say, when he's ready, his fans will be there.
