25 Sep - It was revealed that Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has topped the 2017 Forbes China Celebrity List.

As reported on Mingpao, in the list that was unveiled by Forbes China which surveyed the popularity and income of Chinese celebrities from June 2016 to June 2017, the "I Am Not Madame Bovary" star made it to the first place with an annual earning of RMB 300 million (USD45.4 million).

The trendsetter had not only made it as the biggest celebrity endorser in China, but has also won various awards through her movie roles.

Singer-actor and former EXO member Luhan made it to the second spot with RMB 210 million (USD31.7 million) through his many endorsements, extended plays, and acting roles, including Zhang Yimou's movie, "The Great Wall", and the fantasy series, "Fighter of the Destiny".

On the other hand, the third place goes to the ever-so-busy Yang Mi, with RMB 200 million (USD30.2 million). The actress has filmed one movie, "L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties" in the last 12 months, and three dramas including "The Interpreter" and "Eternal Love".

Other names in the top ten lists include Zanilia Zhao (at 4th place with RMB 190 million), Jackie Chan (at 7th with RMB 330 million), and Kris Wu (at 10th with RMB 150 million).

While some of these celebrities have a higher income than Fan, who tops the list for the fifth consecutive time, it has to be noted that the overall ranking is not just based on earnings, but the exposure and social influence they have on the public.
