This famous pizza chain is closing down for good in Singapore – hurry before it’s too late!
This year has brought numerous new openings and reopenings, but sadly, we’ve also seen many closures. Fans of Little Caesars Pizza will be devastated to learn that their last remaining outlet, located in Funan Mall, will be shutting down for good sometime in September 2024— marking the end of Little Caesars’ franchise in Singapore.
Founded in 1959 in the US, Little Caesars began as a family-owned establishment in Michigan. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest pizza chains in the world, with stores in over 20 countries, including Singapore.
Since it arrived in Singapore in 2018, Little Caesars has built a strong following with its value-for-money pizzas.
However, since 2023, the chain has been closing its outlets across the island, including those in Ang Mo Kio, Holland Village, Punggol, and Clementi, to name a few. While the exact reason for the Funan closure remains unknown, many netizens had anticipated this, given the gradual shutdown of other outlets.
On September 3, they announced on social media that their Funan outlet would be closing sometime this month.
“A goodbye for now Singapore!” the post read.
As expected, many long-time fans expressed their disappointment in the comments.
While the exact closing date of their final outlet is still unclear, it’s best to head down and enjoy their pizzas while you still can. Hopefully, this isn’t the end for them, and we might see Little Caesars return to Singapore in the foreseeable future!
