Famous 328 Katong Laksa now launches instant noodle with their renowned milky broth
Laksa lovers rejoice because the famous 328 Katong Laksa has struck again. After the release of their Laksa hotpot, the famous 328 Katong Laksa has launched a brand-new Katong Laksa Instant Noodle bowl (S$3.30). This collaboration brings the iconic flavours of Singapore’s much-loved laksa into homes with ease and convenience.
328 Katong Laksa is renowned for its rich, creamy coconut broth, infused with shrimp, spices, and a touch of heat. This new instant noodle version captures the essence of the traditional dish, featuring a bold laksa soup base, straight noodles, and toppings like shrimp balls and fried tofu beancurd for added texture and flavour.
The laksa broth is carefully crafted to mimic the authentic experience, offering a satisfying balance of spiciness, coconut creaminess, and shrimp umami.
The convenience of the bowl noodle format makes it easier for consumers to enjoy their favourite laksa without visiting the restaurant. Simply add hot water, wait a few minutes, and a steaming bowl of 328 Katong Laksa cup noodles is ready to be enjoyed! They have included a packet of their famous chilli inside as well.
Having made the noodles at home, here are some tips together with my experience. I intentionally undercooked the noodles with only 2-3 minutes of cooking time. This allowed the noodles to maintain their springy texture.
The broth, even though I added just a little under the recommended level, tasted slightly on the watery side. And so, I would advise to add much less water than recommended. Despite that, I could still taste the strong coconut flavour of the broth together with the deep fragrance of the prawns and spices.
The new product is available in selected supermarkets and online platforms across Singapore, allowing fans to savour the flavours of 328 Katong Laksa anytime and anywhere.
