Fala Chen to make Hong Kong comeback

19 Dec – It was revealed that Fala Chen is set to make her Hong Kong comeback with a new movie.

As reported on HK01, the actress, who returned to Hong Kong recently to attend an event, shared that she has accepted an offer to do a Hong Kong movie, which will begin production soon.

It was later revealed that the movie will be Nick Cheung's latest directorial effort, entitled, "Redemption" and which will also have him in the starring role as well.

Sources claimed that one of the reasons Fala agrees to do the movie is due to the fact that she and Nick came from the same batch during their TVB academy days. The actress also reportedly does not care too much about her fee, and will charge Nick a friendly price as a way to support the new project.

It is noted that Fala's last Hong Kong movie was the 2013 "Tales of the Dark 2", which she starred alongside Gordon Lam.

Among other actors who will be joining the project include "Anita" actor Terrance Lau and TVB's Rebecca Zhu.
