Fala Chen finally appears in "Shang-Chi" trailer
28 Jun - The new Marvel's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" trailer has recently been released, and we finally get to see Fala Chen in it.
As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong actress, who was revealed to have joined the cast in May last year, may not have been seen in the previous trailer, but is now part of the new one.
Appearing in minute 0:28, the actress is revealed to play the role of Shang-Chi's mother, as she helps train the younger Shang-Chi while the voice of Michelle Yeoh's character expressed, "You are the product of all who came before you. The legacy of your family. You are your mother, and whether you like it or not, your father."
It is noted that Tony Leung plays the character of Shang-Chi's father as well as the main villain of the movie.
Back in April, Fala shared the first teaser on social media, writing, "Spot me? I'm hiding."
The said movie began filming back in February last year, but had to suspend production in March due to the pandemic. Fala was later revealed to have been cast in the movie as well, which boasted the star-studded cast that includes Simu Liu, Tony Leung, Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina.
The upcoming movie is set to be released on 3 September.
