Ezzanie Jasny admits to be "quite chaotic" in person
9 Sep - She might seem poise and elegant most of the times, but Ezzanie Jasny recently admitted that she is as chaotic as her character in her latest drama, "Uncle Bos Mama".
The actress, who spoke to the media at the recent press event for the upcoming television series, shared as much when asked to compare herself to Fish, the lead character in the drama.
"People might not know this, but I am as chaotic as her at times," she said, though jokingly added that she is not as frenzied as the character.
"In real life, I am not as loud as Fish, who has to be that way, being an instant mother. In real life, I am quite the soft-spoken person," she said with a laugh.
Ezzanie was also singing praises for the four young talents - Jannah Izwandy, Syed Irfan, Duerra Mitilda and Qaiszer Ershan, who played her four "instant kids" in the drama.
"They are all seasoned actors despite their young age, even the youngest one [Qaiszer]. And Jannah is such a queen of tears. She is able to cry even before the director says action. They are truly talented kids, they amaze me," she added.
In the drama, which is adapted from the Karangkraf novel of the same name, Ezzanie plays Naila "Fish" Farafisha, a single woman who decides to step up and takes care of her nephew and three other motherless children, while also navigates her career and unpredictable boss Joshua (played by Meerqeen) who ends up entangled in her chaotic family life.
