EXILE's Atsushi reveals he had been suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning

25 Apr – EXILE's Atsushi recently revealed that he will be taking a break from work due to his health situation.

On 23 April, the singer-songwriter posted a message on his official social media account, saying that he has been suffering from several headaches that came from carbon monoxide poisoning.

"It's been two months since this incident but I'm not in full condition to say I've recovered. I feel very sorry that I have to postpone/cancel some of my upcoming shows as well as the G7 summit event. So sorry for this announcement," he expressed.

Atsushi also stated that while he was assured by the doctors that his condition will get better with time, the recurring symptoms that he has been experiencing made it difficult for him to work.

"For me, if I don't post about it, I think it will create strange speculations and cause fans to worry unnecessarily, which is why I decided [to share with you]," he added.

It is noted that Atsushi was originally scheduled to start his live tour on 30 April, as well as another show on 4 May in Hiroshima.
