The 2024 NBA All-Star Game is drawing near, and the league’s superstars will assemble while piecing compiling the densest collection of new sneakers you’ll see on a court all year.

This year’s assortment of “All-Star” colorways for the league’s signature sneaker lineup has began leaking quite early, giving us an idea what to expect on the court well ahead of time. The Nike slate has already been revealed for Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Ja Morant — although the latter won’t be playing this year. Anthony Edwards’ instant hit model has also been revealed, while LeBron James’ grade-school creates intrigue for the adult version to come.

Luka Dončić’s second signature sneaker gets a very ’80s color scheme putting pink, teal, purple and yellow accents atop a base of grey and black. Unlike Nike’s All-Star slate, the Jordan Luka 2 doesn’t feature any special marks for the occasion.

Both sneakers feature a print of the hand-written text, “Thanasis thanks for sharing.”

Release Date: Feb. 16
Price: $120
This season hasn’t gone quite to plan for Ja Morant, who’s unlikely to be named to the All-Star Game but wouldn’t have been able to play regardless because of a season-ending injury sustained just 9 games after returning from a 25-game suspension. Nike does still have a multi-color edition of his Ja 1 sneaker prepared for the occasion, and all signs point to it still being released.

Pictured is the grade school version, but this “All-Star” edition of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s is also expected to release in adult sizing and features a confetti-like sheen much like LeBron’s “All-Star” sneaker, as well as a new thematic logo for the tongue.
