Here’s Every Air Jordan Sneaker Releasing in February
February is always a strong month for Air Jordan releases because of the NBA All-Star Game, but this year the shortest month of them all is packing a particularly strong punch.
Jordan Brand is kicking off its celebration for the 40th anniversary of the sneaker that started it all with the Air Jordan 1 High “Bred,” which could end up being the highest quality and most faithfully executed Air Jordan retro that’s ever been made. Not long after will come the “Black Toe Reimagined,” which sees one of the AJ1’s original colorways releasing for the first time with the collar branding seen in a promotional image featuring Michael Jordan.

With the significance of those two releases alone, it would be easy to overlook the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined,” which sees the return of another OG colorway with a slight twist.
That’s not all that’s in store either, and Footwear News has gathered all the Air Jordan releases scheduled for February below.
Air Jordan 3 “Valentine’s Day”

A brand-new edition of the Air Jordan 3 kicks off the month as a Valentine’s Day-themed release, but the actual day of the holiday boasts another Jordan release that could trump all elese.
Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined”
Release Date: February 8

This revival of one of the Air Jordan 5’s original colorways features some of the more subtle changes in the “Reimagined” series. White laces come as the default as a nod to Michael Jordan’s in-game choice, and the trim on the overlays is now reflective rather than merely white.
Air Jordan 1 High “Bred”

The return of the very first Air Jordan will always be a highlight of whatever year in which it goes down, but the return for its 40th anniversary will be even more special because of the level of detail in recreating the original proportions and its reported scarcity. Rumor has it only 10,000 pairs have been made, and all signs point to only 23 boutiques releasing the AJ1 “Bred” without a normal Snkrs drop.

Postponed from last fall, this reissue of the original Air Jordan 1 colorways sets itself apart for the “Air Jordan” text on the collar rather than the Wings logo. That branding has never before been featured on a release and was used for a sample slung over the shoulders of Michael Jordan in a promotional photo.
