Eva Lai not interested to talk about ex-husband Tony Liu
23 Oct – Hong Kong actress Eva Lai recently stated that she is not interested at all to know about ex-husband Tony Liu's failed marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was approached by the media to share her thoughts about the actor's separation from mainland wife, Huang Liyan, stated that she would rather not comment about other people's family affair.
"I never said anything about our past marriage before in order not to affect the children, so I won't respond about it now as well," she said.
It is noted that Eva had once described her marriage to Tony as "a nightmare" that she wouldn't want to remember.
The former couple tied the knot in 1992, and had two children together. However, in 2000, the actress filed for divorce and an injunction prohibiting Tony from contacting her and their children, citing abuse as reason for her decision.
Tony had denied the allegation and even went on television to appeal to Eva to reconsider her decision. The divorce became official in 2004.
vOn the other hand, Tony, who confirmed to be separated from his third wife recently, stated that he still owed his second wife Eva, saying that the actress has been a good mother to their children.
