Eva Lai nervous about first TVB drama
17 Nov – Hong Kong actress Eva Lai recently admitted that she is nervous about filming her first ever TVB drama, "12 Legends" (also known as "Reversal of Legends").
As reported on Mingpao, the 53-year-old actress, who appeared at the press conference of the said drama in TVB City recently, shared that she was so nervous about the project that she had insomnia the night before.
"I feel like a school girl in her new uniform, going to a new school for the first time," she said.
Fortunately, said Eva, she feels calmer now that her former ATV colleague, actor Jimmy Au is also involved in the drama.
"I hope to rely on him in the first few days of filming," she said.
Eva, who has been with TVB's former rival ATV for more than two decades, recently signed with TVB. This would be her first full-fledged drama in 20 years, the last being ATV's 1997 drama, "The Year of Chameleon".
The drama also stars Edwin Siu, Rosina Lam, and Moon Lau.
