Eugina Lau releases new book inspired by celeb's life stories

14 May – Radio DJ Eugina Lau has recently released a new book, which features the many lives lived by her good friends as seen through her eyes.

As reported on Mingpao, Eugina, who appeared at the promotional event held in Tsim Sha Tsui, revealed that the book, "Yung Yau Sat Hoi" features stories of hardship that she collected from her conversations with 11 friends, including Bobby Au Yeung, Sheren Tang, Wayne Lai, and Paula Tsui.

But it was the story about Cecilia Cheung that attracted the most attention.

In the book, Eugina described Cecilia as a superwoman - a single mother who uprooted to a different country for the sake of her sons' education, and who has used various methods to teach her two children life lessons.

It also mentioned that Cecilia once brought her eldest, Lucas, to the ice skating ring to learn how to skate, but when her son refused to learn again when he fell down, she decided to fall down on purpose several times to show her son the importance of getting up after falling down.

"In order to be there for her two sons, she didn't hesitate to give up on her own successful career," said Eugina.

On the other hand, the radio personality also stated that each and every one of the story told to her is worth making a movie over.

"I hope their stories can move and encourage everyone," she added.
