Erra Fazira finally admits relationship with Shahir

Erra Fazira declines to talk more since the relationship is still in its early stages.

29 Jun – Rumours of actress Erra Fazira dating singer Shahir have finally been confirmed, with the actress herself admitting that they are currently in a relationship.

However, Erra declined to comment further on it, according to Media Hiburan, as the relationship is still in its early stages, where the couple is still getting to know each other more.

Previously, the "Warna Cinta Impian" actress denied rumours saying that the "Akademi Fantasia Season 8" winner was planning to ask for her hand in marriage and tie the knot after this Aidilftiri celebration.

The 42-year-old admitted that her relationship with Shahir is close but will not comment more as it is still uncertain.

On the other hand, the 28-year-old singer revealed a different story just a day after the actress' statement.

"We have not set a date. The spreading story is not from us. We do not know what will happen after this. [We can] only pray for the best...InsyaAllah," said the singer to BH Online.

At the same time, Shahir said that he felt it was time for him to be more open about his relationship and think of the next step after both sides of the families have agreed.

The couple first became close two years ago.

If Erra were to marry again, this will be the third marriage for the actress affectionately known as Primadonna, as she was previously married to Yusry Abdul Halim from 2003 to 2006 and Engku Emran from 2007 to 2014.

She has a seven-year-old daughter from her last marriage.
