Ernie Zakri and Syamel to hold concert this coming October

12 Aug – After previously sharing tidbits about an upcoming collaborative show, Ernie Zakri and Syamel announced that their upcoming concert, "Aku Cinta" will be held this October in Zepp, Kuala Lumpur.

Speaking about the upcoming show at the press conference recently, Syamel stated that it's been a while since he and his wife had planned to hold a concert.

"But we had to postpone our dream due to COVID-19 before. Now seems to be the perfect time for us to hold our first solo concert," he said.

"We will be performing 23 songs, both as individuals and as part of our duet, as well as several other renditions of songs from well-known singers. We've already discussed this with our music director Aubrey Suwito."

On the other hand, Ernie, who is also the niece of Anuar Zain and Ziana Zain, shared that she has met with her said uncle earlier to learn more of the experience in holding a large-scale show, as both Anuar and Ziana recently held their own concert.

"We also went to several concerts this year to get more inspiration and to do our homework, since this is our first time," she added.

The tickets will be sold from 15 August, ranging from RM500 (Diamond), RM400 (Platinum), RM300 (Gold), RM250 (Silver), and RM200 (Bronze).
