Erin Napier's Fans Can't Get Enough of Her "Early" Christmas Decorations
It's no secret that Erin Napier and her family are big fans of the Christmas holiday. Erin's husband, Ben, has been known to dress up as Santa in their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, and their daughter, Mae, requested a Christmas theme for her birthday party—in June! Of course, Erin was happy to oblige. Now that it's November, Mae and her sister Helen are officially ready to deck the halls, so Erin did just that, and shared her progress with her followers on Instagram.
The star of HGTV's Home Town posted a photo of the simply beautiful start to her Christmas decorations, showcasing her staircase railing twirled up with garland and velvet ribbons. She wrote, "the girls wanted to start early and i couldn’t stop them 🙃😏"
Erin's fans were in full support of her decision to get the holiday magic started early! They left comments like, "Love it. Very “Little Women” (1994) 🎄❤️," "Enjoy! have never decorated for Christmas this early and I am finished. It makes me so happy!🎄" and "Your home is so dreamy! The garland looks fantastic, well done to your kiddos! 🎅"
Erin's ornate staircase caught the attention of some fans, and it has a meaningful story. Although it's not Erin's personal style, she explained in a 2022 Instagram post, "We’ve been told the wife of the man who built our house played the lyre so he made a stencil and hand-carved each banister rail for her. It’s very formal and quirky, to be sure, but I don’t have the heart to change what Mrs. Moore must have loved so much." She balances the formal staircase with framed artwork from Helen and Mae.
