Erika Toda announces first pregnancy

30 Nov - Japanese actress Erika Toda recently announced that she is pregnant with her first baby.

The actress, known for movies like "Death Note" and the series "Code Blue", shared the good news in a letter posted on Twitter.

It read, "To all those who have always supported me, on this occasion, I am announcing that I have been blessed with a new life (being pregnant). Currently, I live my days in peace physically and spiritually, and hope that this baby will be born safely.

"It is a pleasure for me if you all continue to watch over me with warmth," she added.

The 34-year-old tied the knot with "Whisper of the Heart" actor Tori Matsuzaka in December 2020.
