Eric Tsang: Anita Mui's belongings are now safe!

30 Dec - Hong Kong actor-producer Eric Tsang recently revealed that several items belonging to the late pop diva Anita Mui are now safe and sound.

According to Sina News, Eric recently worked together with the Performing Artistes Guild, several friends of the singer, as well as her fans to make the biggest bids to Anita's belongings that were auctioned off online this month.

Their mission was to save these priceless items, including Anita's trophies as well as her personal undergarments, after previous plea for the auction to stop was met with no response.

Eric stated that aside from big names such as Jackie Chan, Alan Tam, and Jacky Cheung, other stars have also helped in the matter, though most of them prefer not to be mentioned.

He also expressed gratitude towards the media for the coverage of the issue that enabled them to resolve the matter with ease.

Eric also revealed that the Guild will be discussing with the Hong Kong government about making an exclusive memorial for Anita so others, especially the younger generation, will be able to learn more about her achievements. And while the project is still under construction, Anita's belongings will be kept under the custody of the Performing Artistes Guild.
