Eraserheads announces reunion concert

20 Sep – Good news to fans Eraserheads - the Filipino rock band is set to reunite for a concert.

The news was confirmed by vocalist Ely Buendia on 19 September with a Twitter post that read, "12.22.2022, [Eraserhead 2022]."

The reunion concert is set to be held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Paranaque City, and will feature the members line-up of Ely, Raymns Marasigan (drummer), Buddy Zabala (bassist), and Marcus Adoro (lead guitarist).

No details have been released yet regarding ticket prices.

Rumours of a reunion concert sparked recently, after the four members shared on social media the band's logo - a backward E.

First established in 1989, the band is considered one of the most influential Filipino bands of all time prior to their disbandment in 2002. A reunion concert was first held in 2008, though it had to be cut short after Ely was rushed to the hospital for chest pains. It was resumed the next year.
