5 Sep – Now with Liza Soberano busy with her first Hollywood movie, ABS-CBN Films' head Kriz Gazmen stated that the actress' onscreen partner Enrique Gil is now ready for his solo project.
As reported on ABS-CBN, Gazmen, who spoke about Enrique in a recent interview, stated that they are currently "cooking something up" for the actor, who has been on hiatus for two years.
"We still have offers for Liza, but a lot of things depend on what will happen to the projects she and James Reid are working on at the moment. Hopefully, the timing will finally work out," Gazmen said.
Gazmen also revealed that prior to the decision to work on Enrique's solo projects, the LizQuen tandem had been approached with various projects, but that the timing was never right, from the COVID-19 pandemic, to Liza's decision to change her career direction.
The actress is currently filming Zelda Williams' movie, "Lisa Frankenstein" alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
Enrique's last project was the ABS-CBN series, "Make It with You", which was cancelled halfway through due to the pandemic.
